Heath Nash at Red River Primary School

Heath Nash came to do a few workshops with the children in our classroom before the "make over". Some interesting items were made… handbags, irons, cars etc.

Finally: Installation Time…

The time finally arrived: we started installing our space on the second week of October 2011. There was a alot of tearing things off the walls, sanding, filling holes, fixing and painting happening. I lived in an old oversized overall from my dad for the whole duration of the installation, and bright coloured streaks in my hair was my 'new look' from the paint spatters coming off the roller.

Our first Completed “safe spaces” Art Room

With the help of friends, suppliers and co-workers, we were able to transform this classroom to create a space that could inspire and uplift;both current and future learners.
