The Cecile & Boyd's Foundation collaborated with the BTech Interior Design students from CPUT in aid of a music/arts room for the Amy Biehl Foundation.
The BTech students participated in a competition held by the Cecile & Boyd's Foundation, the brief was to create a multi purpose music/arts container with looking at the psychological use of colour and the elements of re-cycling and sustainability.
There were 7 entries from the following groups: Adeeba & Lisa, Carla & Adri, Jivani & Abby, Jody & Amy, Serena & Janine, Siphiwe & Ayanda and Madri & Sune. Here is a taste of each project.
We were so overwhelmed with all the great and innovative ideas and it was quite difficult to choose one as the winner. After a lot of thougth and discussion, we thought that the following project answered the brief and addressed all the elements the best.
We are excited to announce that the project presented by Adeeba & Lisa, BTech Interior Design students from Cape Peninsular University of Technology, was chosen as the winner of our Container Inspiration Competition.
Here is some incredible images from their project.
